On Saturday Christian took his test for his White Belt in Tae Kwon Do and passed with flying colors. He did an awesome job and was very proud of his accomplishment. He had to do three different attention stances, the sparring stance, the front snap kick, the high block, tiger crawls, the Korean words for uniform, instructor, practice area/school, and count 1-5 in Korean. It was a very proud moment for Shane and me and we hope this is the first of many belts for him.
With his teacher Instructor Mike
Grandma and Granddad were on hand to watch him test and get his belt

At home and very proud!

Yayyyyyyyyy my little buddy Christian!! I can't wait to see him this weekend, I have not seen him in so long. He can kick some butt now!!
Way to go, Christian! I'm proud of of you too, Krissy, for fostering sports at an early age - it builds so many positive character traits. Later on, possibly he will do team sports, which foster other essential qualities.
BTW, thanks for posting that link to the Washington Post regarding the running shoes. Not only was it very informative (and I inserted it at the end of my post for others to read), but they featured the wonderful shoe that I purchased. I liked how they said that a good running shoe can be costly, because they are, but worth the comfort and support, and the possibility of avoiding issues 'down the road'. Thanks, Krissy dear for offering that on Flitzy.
